Responsibilities

The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager eCommerce based out of our National Center office located in Dallas, TX! This individual will be responsible for strategic oversight and day-to-day management of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) eCommerce portal with specific focus on meeting customer needs and ongoing, data-driven enhancements. Responsible for leading marketing and user experience efforts to optimize eCommerce conversions, align with ECC’s digital strategy and drive revenue to contribute to the AHA’s mission. Also responsible for collaborating across departments to drive strategy, product road-maps, and creation/maintenance of a user-friendly eCommerce experience.

  • Own day-to-day operations of the ecommerce portal, including content updates, pricing and promotions, product management, customer communications, and marketing

  • Create and manage ecommerce and related content to optimize conversions and ensure relevancy, consistency and appropriate balance of brand story-telling and commerce. Improve customer acquisition, engagement and retention by leveraging available analytics and SEO best practices to develop content in partnership with ECC marketing teams

  • Work closely with customer service, marketing, sales, UX, and content teams to understand user profiles and customer journeys across ECC properties and proactively identify customer needs. Coordinate with various teams to execute content and site enhancements, improving user experience to meet those needs

  • Participate as ecommerce product owner on cross-functional ecommerce team, ensuring effective processes for maintenance, enhancements, and business needs and always advocating on behalf of the customer to meet business goals

  • Act as ecommerce SME on marketing, product and digital project teams

  • Manage ecommerce reporting, including campaign performance, product performance, user behavior, and content. Leverage available analytics and tools to understand user trends and growth opportunities and make content improvements and product recommendations based on these insights

  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to support brand and product marketing efforts, and incorporate ecommerce sales, profit and customer experience metrics to measure campaign performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least five years of relevant experience

  • Experience managing CMS and eCommerce platforms (Magento, Sitecore, WordPress preferred) including pricing, promotions, and product management for both physical and digital products

  • Experience with digital marketing strategies, campaign planning and implementation, KPIs, and reporting across channels and tactics

  • Experience creating and optimizing digital content. Proven success optimizing content for increased engagement and conversions with conversion funnels, SEO best practices, personalization principles, and testing methodologies

  • Experience working on cross-functional project teams with market research, design, development, and business stakeholders. Must be able to translate business needs to technical requirements

  • Hands-on experience with web design and development processes

  • Familiarity with market research, web reporting, data analytics, including practical knowledge of data-driven KPIs and report development. Must have skilled to expert familiarity with Google Analytics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate with all organizational levels

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of collaborative project teams

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail Ability to travel up to 50% local and overnight stay

Preferred Skills:
